RentalOS
Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the ground rules for using RentalOS. Please read them before you create an account or use the service.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using RentalOS, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you use RentalOS for a shop, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that shop.
2. Who can use RentalOS
RentalOS is for rental businesses and the people they authorise to work on their behalf. You must be legally able to enter into an agreement and must provide information that is accurate and kept up to date.
3. Accounts and staff
You are responsible for your account, your login details and the activity under them. Shop owners are responsible for inviting staff, choosing their access and making sure staff follow these terms. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been misused.
4. Acceptable use
You must use RentalOS lawfully and honestly. Do not use it for illegal rentals, fraud, harmful or abusive activity, or to misuse another person's data. Do not try to break, scan, overload or hack RentalOS, bypass its security or interfere with someone else's use.
5. Your data stays yours
Your shop keeps its rights in the business, customer and order data it puts into RentalOS. You give us permission to host and process that data only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service, or as required by law. You are responsible for having the right to enter and use the data you provide.
6. Early access
RentalOS is currently in early access. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service is provided as-is during this period. Any plans or billing will be announced before any charges are introduced.
7. Availability
We will try to keep RentalOS useful and available, but we do not promise 100% uptime. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, outages or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Responsibility and limits
RentalOS helps you organise rental work; it does not become a party to your shop's rentals. To the extent allowed by law, RentalOS is not liable for your shop's own rental disputes, damaged or lost items, missed bookings, deposits, or other decisions and dealings between your shop and its customers. Nothing in these terms removes a responsibility that the law does not allow us to remove.
9. Ending use
You may stop using RentalOS or ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously break these terms, create a security or legal risk, or if we stop providing the service. We will try to give notice where it is reasonable to do so.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as RentalOS develops or the law changes. We will post the updated version with a new date. If a change is important, we will make a reasonable effort to bring it to your attention.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Vadodara, Gujarat will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to applicable law.
